"im using imr 4227 powder at 45grs. with hornady 300xtp bullets with black sobots.......and man do they shoot,touching bullet holes at 100yds is the norm. with a speed of 2130fps.average, and i dont dry patch between shots but you do have to put a little bit of pressure on ram rod when loading, been using this for over 5 years and shot over 200 rounds so far........bullets all passed through deer and moose at ranges out to 270 yards so far....hits very hard"
