"This review is for the Audio Creator 1.5 version.

Couple of sore points. 64 bit systems have been out a very long time. Yet, so many ISVs (software vendors) tend to be lazy and create only 32 bit versions of the software. This is one of them.

The ripping is significantly slower than what one expects these days. I have an I7 machine, 12 gigs of ram so I know the processor etc. is not the problem. This should rip as fast as the IO to and from the discs can handle ... it does not.

As noted in the About.com review, this does not support some formats. This will probably not be a huge deal for some, but it is worth noting.

It is not bad, just not great. One can find this quite cheap (almost free), which I suspect is a "freemium" model (lure with a fully functional free, get them to upgrade). However, fully functional should include speed. It should be the features that lure the user to buy an upgrade.
