"I purchased a GMC Envoy XL in august 2008 and I must say, I love it!!! It is a really easy truck to drive and I was very impressed with its tight turning radius. I find it very easy to get in and out of crammed parking lots despite its intimidating size. There are only 2 issues I have with this wonderful truck. (My truck has the inline 6 engine) 1 is the gas mileage... I must say it can be a lot better! I find it can be very hard on fuel to drive a short distance, but it is wonderful on long hauls. I live way out in the country and rely on a hardy vehicle to get me around and the Envoy has a top place on my list!
My second point is it takes off like a kite in the wind!!! I live in a windy area and they Envoy can be quiet difficult to keep in line when the wind is blowing, I find it can be a little loose in the back end, it tends to wonder a bit. I was very shocked at how stable it felt around corners for the size of truck, it was amazing! It felt like it hugged the road and handled very well on bumpy and uneven roads, though it tends to bounce alot on the really rough stuff...
I am truely inpressed with this truck and I would really reccomend this for a small family vehicle. It is very comfortable and handles like a sports car. Its towing power is amazing, as we use it to haul our race cars to the drag strip, and it hauls like a pro! Very impressed. I am planning on keeping this truck for a long time and it is very reliable and a very stylish truck ! I love my truck!!!!"
