Springfield in Overdrive is A+,

"Rick Springfield just keeps on giving us new positive energy! He demonstrates his great guitar playing paired with the power pop for which he is loved with a new contemporary sound. You don't have to be a Rick fan to appreciate and enjoy this cd, though 80s fans will be amused by the tongue in cheek "tell me her name, did I ever really know her" line of "What's Victoria's Secret". It's not about the lingerie but will make you smile. "Saint Sahara" is a whimsically light devoted song to a little girl Rick loved who died of cancer. Yet, it's upbeat, makes you smile and not at all maudlin. I appreciate the talent of this cd and just plain love playing it. Thank you Rick Springfield."
