Lowe's Jen-Air NG grill, July 13, 2009

"Model: 730-0163 NG
Manufacutred by a Chinese company for Lowe's under the licensed Jenn-Air name.
Parts availability - very poor to none (you can no longer by burners for this model)
Brass burners - lasted to the third summer. Very expensive. I would rather have SS or iron - cheeper and would last as long.
Cooks OK - needs more heat (I drilled out the burner holes a size bigger to get more heat - this worked ok)
SS shell is good and cleans up well. The cooking grids are very good. They have not deteriated at all.
Overall the grill is ok except is no longer supported by Lowe's and you will not be able to get parts.
I would suggest that you do not buy any appliances etc. from Lowe's unless you check to make sure that it is supported by the name on the product and won't be discontinued any time soon."
