Nice for the price!,

"Just bought one from the local superstore a few days ago. Although, after reading a review from this site, almost took it back. I decided to take a chance because I owned a porter-cable years ago and liked its performance,(until stolen off a jobsite). I know it's not the same Porter-Cable, they've been bought out by Black and Decker since then, nevertheless seems to be built well, and packs alot of power. This 18volt drill would be more than enough for the homeowner. I am an electrician and could use alot from my cordless, with this new drill, I roughed in a security system in a new house, all wood, using mostly 1/2 inch bits and some 7/8 inch augers, not needing a new battery until the LAST hole! Awesome drill for the money, more than I expected. Just keep in mind, if you decide to buy, that you paid 110 dollars for a drill and a circular saw, which also seems to be a strong tool, for less than half the cost of a Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukie etc. If you wanna spend a little more, and absolutely need a powerful drill, check out Rigid. But that aside, Way to go Porter-Cable!!"
