Bad service, October 25, 2008

"Long wait just to move from the bar to a bar table 5 feet away when our illuminating coaster went off (the table had been open as we waited at the bar). We heard several of the wait staff using extremely foul language and complaining about their own restaurant. A couple of "off-duty" Copeland's employees untucked their uniforms and hung around the bar taking up seats like it was some type of night club.
It was hard to get service at the bar or at the table. On a better note, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice (I guess the main dining area was too - we never made it out of the bar). Just don't expect ANY service or a hello or a goodbye after your loooonnnnnggggg dining experience. There was a band playing, but they brought 4 small kids with them and had them playing at a table in the bar.
OVERALL NOT A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
Little Rock has other dining establishments with equally good food AND good service. Don't waste your time at Copeland's unless they hire some motivated and respectful employees in the future and a manager to keep them under control. What a shame..."
