"Every night when I take my bath I read. Tonight I was literally in the tub for 2hrs. I just picked up this book today and the only reason I purchased it is because from what I have read it is an inspiring story. One of survival. I can not for the life I me wrap my head around David's mother's "sickness!" I am not quite half way through the book and I have cried several times and could feel my heart wrenching like I have just had it broken. At 40 years of age it never seems to amaze me at how ignorant I can be to such horrors of others lives. This book I can tell will keep me reading non stop until I am done and I have already purchased The Lost Boy and A Man Named David! I simply have to know how this strong and beautiful man triumphed! I believe it will be life changing and I thank the Lord for the message David has been inspired to send us all! Way to go Mr. Pelzer! I am sorry for what you've had to endure and grateful that you lived through it to share and inspire us all.
Warmest Regards"
