Expensive and Confusing,

"The multimedia effect of Rosetta Stone is quite good because you learn very visual with pictures. However, because there are no translations at all included in the software, it is often quite confusing on what exactly the meaning of the word and sentence on the picture is. As mentioned in the review, the words and phrases that you learn are also often not really useful (e.g. "The boy is standing on the table"). The program should focus more on day-to-day phrases that you need to survive in China. I also believe that it is very expensive with something around $250. In my opinion you get much better programs now -which also cost only a fraction. One of my favourites now is the L-Ceps Personaltrainer Mandarin which I like very much and made very good progress."
