"the problem with the 550 titan 12 turn motor is, they are junk.i have a box full of dead 550s. they burn up if the batt. is going low, they seem to burn up sitting still. i have used traxxas batts, and still havent found one that will not burn out the titan. they are right, it is good for newbs, they learn how to change them, and give practice to working on the model. the rustler is a cool car, just get out all the traxxas electronics and put something else in.
if you have the cash castle mamba systems is the way to go, aka the 4tec killer."
