"Zoombak has spent lots of dollars advertising their product on national TV. They should have spent their money on the user interface and reliability of the product.

One problem from the very start is that it cannot remember what country you live in, as to everytime you log in, you must enter which country you are from.

The zone alert feature is very difficult to use. It requires an address but not all locations have addresses which then make it difficult to get the web interface to accept the location you want to specify. If you use the locate me feature to get an address, the address it responds with cannot be used either. It does have a feature where you can set an alert depending where the device is, but if the location is a remote location, you need to have access to a computer also.

In a test this last Sunday, a zone alert failed three times in one location and 5 out of 6 times at another location. This is totally unacceptable. Out of nine alerts that should have been sent, only one was sent. What would have happened if that was my child carrying the Zoombak and only 11% of the time it would send me an alert?

They offer a 30 day risk free guarantee, but so far they have not honored it.

Other competing units let friends and family locate you on a map, but Zoombak does not offer this feature.

I am trying to get my money back on this because this product does not work as advertised."
