Great Food, Presentation, and Service, July 19, 2009

"On our way to another area restaurant after a day of touring DC, we found Potenza. What a lucky find! Dining at the bar, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere immensely. The service was appropriately attentive. The freshest and quality of the ingredients that made up the dishes were outstanding. Every bite of the dishes that we ordered had a little burst of flavor from the herbs ( basil and fennel) to the various varieties of tomatos. Even the presentation and flavors of the "Italian butter" for soaking the moist bread was excellent. A pretty perfect summer meal."
