Outrageously Picky Cat Eats!, May 26, 2009
By erinshorn

"As a kitten I picked up my oldest cat at five weeks old & went through months of finding foods, her trying them, eating a couple of bites & then refusing the food after a couple of days eating it. This was the case for both dry kibble & canned (wet) food. My worry for the health of my kitty if she didn't eat was constant and frustrations mounted because even her fantastic vet was out of suggestions. We went through most of the major higher quality foods w/out success (i.e., Eukaneuba, Royal Canin Baby Cat, Nutro Ultra, Natural Choice- the PetSmart premium brand, Iams, & Purina's premium line).

Someone suggested Blue and though I hadn't heard of it before we tried it because the human grade ingredients & nutritional info looked balanced. Blue is Gracie Cat's food of choice, going on a year now. Her younger brother Elvis will eat pretty much anything, so I cater to Gracie regarding food. She usually enjoys her kibble & for her wet food I have all of the flavors in rotation from all of the different adult cat wet-food lines Blue Buffalo makes & stocks in PetSmart b/c Gracie will stop eating if she's fed the same flavor wet food repeatedly. (Picky & SPOILED!!!)

All felines are different, but I'd definitely recommend giving Blue a try if you've got a picky eater on your hands. Blue stands behind their product & makes returns on opened bags of food regardless of the store's police about refunding open bags of kibble, so the worst thing that can happen is that your cat won't eat it & you return the bag."
