My Sister's Keeper, August 3, 2009

"I have never read a book and cried so hard. I have never hugged my son so hard. I have never been so drawn into fictional characters that I feel like I know them personally, and wonder how I am going to get through what they are going through.
Yes, the book raises morality issues surrounding stem cell research, but I think it answers more questions about the strength of a mother to fight for her child at all costs. Is it possible for a mother to accept the death of a child even when it is eminent?
"My Sister's Keeper" displays the raw nature of love, fight, pain, happiness, and struggle to maintain sanity through unimaginable grief."
