Mr Swim Smooth has a hitch, July 26, 2009
By fullcommitment

"Mr Swim Smooth has a hitch in his recovery as his arm passes his armpit and his hand is so close to his body that his recovery seems to pause while his hand is brought forward. Instead, I would put the hand recovery out so the elbow makes a 110 degree angle rather than a 30 degree angle, with the hand recovering thumb first.

The pull is too deep and far away from the body. Better leverage is found with the hand closer to the chest, like Ian Thorpe or Grant Hackett."
