"I was surprised by this recipe. It is a traditional recipe used when one has fever. Tea leaves are not necessary but can be added. Usually children are given this without tea leaves. Basil leaves, mint leaves, lemon grass leaves are added and then the whole concotion is boiled and reduced to half. Sugar and milk is added if desired. We also add leaves of a plant called PRAJAKTA in Marathi language. I do not know its botanical name. It has white starlike flowers with vermillion coloured stem. The flowers bloom in the evening and are very fragrant. This is an ancient recipe."
