Strawberry jam in original cubano??,

"This is a good recipe and similar to my way of making cubanos. Didn't some versions in the past especially in Veradero, include strawberry jam? Small point, but I'm curious. I don't think I'd include it though a little bit of sweet flavour does taste good with pork. So, strawberry jam on YOUR cubano?"
