Quebec Grown Fiddleheads,
May 16, 2009

"Just wanted to stop by and say that fiddleheads grow wild here in Quebec. In the middle of the St. Lawrence River just off the island of Montreal, there are small islands that you can only get to by boat and these wonderful little veggies grow in abundance in the wild, I notice a difference in the store bought ones and the ones I pick on the island. The island ones are much tastier, only problem is they don't last too long. Adding onions while either frying or towards the end of boiling, gives them a wonderful taste."
