Lost Cabbage Soup,

"I have not yet made this, but belive this is the soup my father, native of St. Vincent in Val D'Aosta, recalled from childhood. But no recipe existed.
I tried many variations...but this sounds like the real thing. Too bad he's no longer here to taste. But I will enjoy it and think of him.
