"I've had bitter rutabaga before (I've no idea how to choose a sweet rutabaga over one that isn't) and added a bit of brown sugar to it, but the maple syrup is a brilliant idea and really complements both the ruatabaga and the bourbon (which was also a good idea). Two thumbs up!"
