"This was my first attempt at chinese cooking, had to get the bamboo steamer and all the sauces from the Asian market. My husband begged me to buy some frozen dim sum because he thought it would end up cheaper and better than my homemade shu mai. Well, was he wrong! This was easy but time consuming to make the baskets... but when it was all ready, he gobbled mine and hated the frozen, which ended up in the trash! I made it just with pork, and with pork and shrimp. I thought the pork and shrimp was much better, but I love shrimp. A search showed these have about 210 calories for 9 pieces, roughly. A great success! Thank you for the yums and helping me feel good about my cooking, I'll definitely be making them again!"
