A Sauce For Many Recipes,

"I made this recipe for New Year's day dinner(2009). What a delightful way to start off the year! I followed the recipe's basic instructions, however, I improvised by adding Craisins to the browning of the meat and the sauce itself. The flavor was outstanding! The sauce did not reduce as it should so adding a tablespoon of flour was not detrimental to the taste. I had doubled the recipe for the sauce so the next day we used the sauce in an omlet. Outstanding!! Thanks for a great recipe!"
