Everyone loved it!,

"This was the first time I'd ever made baked beans, and I was nervous about attempting it. I doubled the recipe and cooked it in a slow cooker for 7 hours. The beans came out firm, but cooked. I used less garlic than suggested, adding only 2 cloves for the entire batch. The flavor of the beans was as good as any I've ever tasted (and perhaps better), and they were a hit at our bar-b-Q. I will definitely make them again. Excellent recipe!"
