"The trick is to boil the water and sugar for a good 10-15 minutes after you have dissolved the fourth cup of sugar. Basically you will notice a thicker more bubbly more thicker consistency. When this happens that is when you take it off the stove and let it cool for 10 minutes. I noticed crystals within the first 1 hour. The photo attached is 6 hours later. We will leave it over night and take them out tomorrow.
THIS RECIPE DOES WORK. MY FIRST TIME EVER DOING ROCK CANDY. We made two jars. I think I can recycle the same syrup again?
