Flopped forest cookies,

"I was so excited to find a use for my dried cherries, but boy was I disappointed in this recipe. First the recipe called for baking powder, but did not give the amount. 1/2 tsp salt was too much. The cookies were dry and crumbling. I did add 1 scan tsp of baking powder based on info from other recipes."
