The Dashi Dilemma!,

"I was not aware that i could make the secondary dashi from the konbu and bonito flakes used for the first dashi, so the recipe was very useful to me as i will no longer throw these away! I will give this a go sometime soon although the last time i made dashi from scratch i found that it did not taste as strongly as i like it. I am ashamed to admit that i prefer my dashi from a little bag! Luiz"
