Four to 1 is a better ratio, May 14, 2009

"I prefer 4 parts Plymouth gin to one part dry vermouth, which I think is a more balanced cocktail. However, in a cowboy bar in Montana I ordered a gin martini 4 to 1 and was told, "we don't have 4 to 1". Then again, what was I thinking, it was Montana not Las Vegas."
