Excellent Black Bean Recipe,

"I make the recipe with vegetable stock, dark brown sugar, and molasses exactly as called for in the recipe. There was so much liquid after four hours, that I continued to simmer the beans for three more hours. There was quite a bit of liquid still (so I served it with a slotted spoon),but people raved about the dish. It is very tasty."
