Great - even for a first timer,

"Let me start by saying that I have nevre baked anything from scratch other than Passover cakes in my 31 years. Even that was with my mother and older sister looking over my shoulder.
After going out and buying all the ingredients (what bachelor living alone has all these things in the house?), everything went smoothly. After that, everything was cake (pun intended). I doubled the recipe, and made 4 miffin tins and an 8" x 8" pan. The muffins were delicious, and I'll know about the 8x8 after dinner."
