Wonderful Bread,

"This was a great recipe for my first success with my bread machine. The only thing I did differently was I dredged the raisins in flour before adding them. The slices are great but even better when toasted and buttered. I plan to make another loaf when my grandkids are here next so they can help make it.
In the past I had so many disasters when trying to use regular yeast that I had just put my Bread Machine away. Over the Holidays I decided to try to use it again, but I would check the internet and read as much as I could find before I tried the machine again. Thanks so much for all the tips and suggestions. I would not have had the success without the information about Rapid Rise/Bread Machine yeast being added to dry ingredients and that the temperature of the water needs to be between 120 -130 degrees (use a thermometer to be sure). In my baking I have always used Regular Yeast, dissolving in warm water (I usually tested the water temperature on my inner wrist as per a baby's bottle of milk). I'm so excited with the success I want to try another recipe tomorrow.
Thank you so much!!!!"
