"I made this for a Day of the Dead breakfast. I couldn't find anise seeds, so substituted a teaspoon of anise extract. As I didn't want to get up early to bake, I did the first rising the evening before and the second rising overnight in the refigerator then let the loaves sit out for about half an hour to warm before baking in the morning. I used the orange juice glaze and sprinkled table sugar on top. Delicious with Mexican hot chocolate!"
