Let them eat this cake!,

"This is a wonderful cake, but I had to make it a few times to get it right. First off, I think it is better as a 3 layer cake, not four.....when you try to make 4 layers, they come out too thin.
Next, you have to cook your icing for a long time, and no, it does not thicken as the recipie states. After you have cooked it for 45 minutes to an hour, then put it all together and put it in the refigirator. After it gets cold, it will be perfect for spreding. Otherwise, it will run off your cake like soup."
