"I make this often as a light dessert after a meat-ladened dinner party. It has always served me well, and like the previous reviewer, comments include"better than yum cha".
I've never had the experience of "the day after sour taste". Do you use fresh mangoes and puree the pulp yuourself? After the first attempt at messy prep. with fresh mangoes, I now always use canned mango puree by Ashoka - Kesar Mango Pulp.
This can is the perfect size for the recipe. It's found in the East Indian food section of our Superstore."
