Soybean Hummis,

"I made this with canned black soybeans and it was delicious. I added 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, but followed the remainder of the recipe exactly. The advantage of any kind of soybean is that they are low in carbohydrates and suitable for a low-carb diet. Black soybeans are supposed to have a better taste than white soybeans which is why I used them. Edamame have not been dried, so will have a different taste than either and I will try them next."
