The French Canadiens borrowed our name !, September 19, 2008

"Interesting ! I was very surprised to see the canadien recipe for the ''Pets de nonne''. In France, the ''pets de nonne'' are beignets and nothing else ! My mother did the same thing as the canadiens with leftover pie dough and no maple syrup but sugar and cannelle, we call these ''palmier'.
