"There are SO many nuanced flavors to this stew that it plays with your taste buds every moment it is in your mouth! I was asked several times if there was any vinegar in it, but we determined it must be the tartness of the cranberries. A tremendously astonishing, hearty and warm treat for a Christmas party. Many wanted the recipe. I'm thinking of showing it to the renowned chef at our favorite fine dining restaurant. The only thing I added was a little corn starch for thickening. It was, after all, only 6 degrees outside when I got up that morning, so I wanted really satisfyingly warm, hearty fare."
