Makes many loaves, January 6, 2008

"We had a big pan full of cooked oatmeal to use up. So, we tried this recipe, and added 4 cups cooked oatmeal (leave out the uncooked oats) and 2 cups bran to the recipe. The bread was pretty stiff, and I needed extra help in stirring it up. It rose well, and made three large loaves. I had many compliments and will make it again. It makes great toast too. Thanks!"
