"I just purchased a Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer and wanted something simple and quick to make this morning and this recipe was a success. Per other's suggesions, I did add more cinnamon to the recipe and finished off the top with sugar/cinnamon. The scone was very light and crispy on the outside. We could not help but to think of all the other things you could add to this basic recipe, such as fruits, maybe cream cheese, nuts, etc."
