"This made a delicious batch of caramel but it stuck for all eternity to the foil in the pan. Obviously, this novice candy maker should have known something that this recipe didn't tell me. That is how to prepare the pan. Foil? I spent an hour trying to scoop the cooled caramel off of the foil. Next time I will know better, but I don't know what yet."
