"The strudel is sweet enough that you forget it is made with cabbage. My family did not grow up with cabbage so they were a little afraid to try it. In the end they liked it but recommended that we call it 'Budapest Strudel' instead so people wouldn't know it was made with cabbage. This is not a traditional Hungarian cabbage strudel which is savory not sweet, but overall pretty good.
I found that the recipe made so much filling that it made two strudels. I also found the prep time closer to 45 minutes because the filling needs to cool."
