Lentils and Rice,

"I'm 1/2 Lebanese and grew up eating this dish. I LOVE it, whenever I feel like getting on a health kick I start eating this. Easy to make and very filling. I like to sprinkle some vinegar on it to give it a bit of tartness and my mom used to pour a little bit of buttermilk instead of the yogurt on hers. My husband hasn't acquired a taste for this dish although he loves all the other Lebanese food I prepare including raw Kibbe and stuffed grape leaves."
