Cosmopolitans are Versatile,

"I just wanted to make it clear that what the author says is true, there are many different variations to the Cosmopolitan. In fact, she clearly states that this recipe is the way she prefers the drink. Some like the drink with more juice, others with more vodka or liqueur. You can't say that any recipe is wrong.
Look at the Bartenders Black Book which is used in many professional bars; the levels of Vodka and orange liqueur are very high compared to the levels of lime and cranberry juice.
Although I prefer the more diluted versions, this recipe is still very good. And the fact that it was contrived from many years of trial and error and personal preference makes it even better than one you would find in a book.
Any good bartender or wannabe bartender should make sure to do extensive research from various sources before making sound conclusions."
