"We love lemon-pepper chicken and have been using a Vietnamese recipe, which differs only in that it calls for two teaspoons of honey or some sugar. I think this is what is lacking in this version of lemon-pepper chicken. Whether it would still qualify as being Thai is another matter. The addition of the honey does make a very descernible difference. Certainly worth trying for this basic recipe is very good, with the one noted exception."
