"These came out buttery and crunchy and very tasty. The coconut adds a very nice flavor. I had no trouble getting them to stay together, although the dough was a bit crumbly. I just squished it into round-ish lumps, and they smoothed out as they baked. I did bake them on parchment paper and cool them still on the paper, which may have helped. Also, I substituted maple syrup for the golden syrup. It seemed to work fine."
