Great Memory,

"Delicious! This recipe reminded me of a German dish my mom used to make. She called it an "omelet," but it wasn't anything like the American omelets we eat. I remember her whipping these up for a quick & easy supper sometimes after we'd been out working in the fields all day. She cooked them in an iron skillet and served with canned plums (we canned ourselves) and whipped cream (from our own cow). Thanks for the memorable meal!"
