"The hamburger in the recipe should be fried and strained first , depending on the meat grade. When you fry the hamburger you can add consomme , celery salt, fry in onions, (or use onion flakes), garlic or garlic salt and salt.(after it is strained) Even lean beef can be starined whcih makes a better base . This will greatly add to the flavor and if salt is a problem thier are many spices that will substitue like dried celery, or parsley, and even paprika. Gravy can be pured on it as well to serve it. (Canned or package gravy works well.)"
