Finally! The real recipe!, February 22, 2009

"I lived in Spain for a year and this cake attributed to my fuller figure while abroad...so yummy!! It is actually a cake eaten all over Spain (not just Galicia), but if I remember it was more common around Easter. I have attempted this really simple cake before and only using this recipe did it turn out right. Here are my only edits:
-Just buy pealed almonds to make it easier instead of blanching
-Use a 10 in. spring form pan (makes it the right thickness for authenticity and reduces cooking time to 30 min.)
-Blend the butter and sugar and THEN add the eggs. Makes the butter blend better."
