"I made this yesterday and it was just right for a snowy day. I didn't have the Savoy cabbage. Just the regular white cabbage. I put it on the back burner and went about my morning. And the trick with cooking the polenta with the brown paper between the pot and the cover worked beautifully!!! Just the other day Piero was buying bread and he overheard some women saying that they had heard of a way to cook polenta without the stirring but they didn't know how it was done. If he ever sees them again he can tell them!"
