Yummy Sauce,

"The sauce in this dish is delicious...if you like lots of sauce, double or triple the amounts given. I used yellow onion in place of green onions, and used water chestnuts in place of bamboo shoots. I also added bell pepper. As you can see, I tend to use ingredients on hand if I don't have available the ones called for in the recipe. I also eliminated the teaspoon of granulated sugar, as I am trying to cut out a lot of sugar. This is an excellent dish and can be adapted for a family or one or two people. Delicious over brown rice."
