"I would not make it as the recipe stands. I would adjust it as follows: instead of 1 teaspoon of salt I would only use 1/2 teaspoon of salt; instead of 1 cup of milk I would use 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup of cherry juice; I would also use 1 teaspoon of vanilla and as an option an over-ripe banana. The recipe as is does not give enough flavor of the cherries. Vanilla also enhances its flavor."
